How it works

OuroDocs is meant to be the quiet layer behind your bookkeeping, ops, and admin work. You send documents in; we send structured data back. No drama, no complicated dashboards required.

Send documents to OuroDocs

Invoices, receipts, statements, and similar documents are sent to OuroDocs via:

  • • Uploads in the client portal
  • • Connected storage (S3-style buckets or similar)
  • • API integration (for teams with developers)

We process and extract

OuroDocs reads each document, pulls out the key fields you care about (dates, amounts, line items, etc.), and runs checks to keep things consistent.

The goal is simple: data that you're not embarrassed to put into your systems.

You plug it into your tools

Clean, structured data is made available for:

  • • Import into accounting and finance tools
  • • Sync into spreadsheets and internal dashboards
  • • Feeding other automations or custom scripts

For clients & teams

If you're the one actually dealing with documents, here's what using OuroDocs feels like day-to-day:

  • Pick a document type to start with (e.g. invoices).
  • Decide how your team will send them (portal uploads, storage integration, or API).
  • Set basic rules like currency, tags, or internal labels.
  • Send documents as they arrive and review the resulting data in your own tools.

Over time, most teams standardize a simple rule internally: "All [document type] go through OuroDocs first."

For referral partners

If you're part of our Earn with OuroDocs program, your side of the process is simpler:

  • Identify businesses clearly drowning in documents.
  • Have a normal conversation about their current process.
  • Introduce OuroDocs and share your referral link or register the lead.
  • Once they become paying clients, our system tracks them under you for commission purposes.

You don't have to manage the technical onboarding – you just need to make the right introductions. The payout math runs automatically in the background.
